We're all about celebrating the good buggers among us at DOCNZ.
These legends spread the good vibes and do good deeds that make our community shine. We call 'em GOOD BUGGERS!
From lending a hand to sharing their passion for Ducatisti, these awesome individuals deserve a massive shoutout.
Let's dive in and read this year's nominations...
Ange - DOCNZ Prez
"Where do I start! Ange lives and breathes Ducati. She dedicates so much time behind the scenes running the club, connecting with regional directors and committee members, coming up with new ideas, all to keep DOCNZ revvin'! She's always focused on ensuring everyone else in the club is looked after and happy, it's about time we all appreciated and acknowledged her dedication and hard work. Thank you Ange! You are definitely a Good Bugger!"
- Bat and Dave Fryer.
Bat - DOCNZ Event Director
"Where do I start! You have stepped up in this important role in the club. You have learnt everything you needed to to help anyone and everyone when required. And you have also kept up your chief photography duties for the Mighty Manawatu chapter of the club and attend every meeting and organised ride. Loving your work."

Chris - 'the Godfather' - Marer
Where do I start. Chris shares his love between both the Manawatu and Wellington club nights. As he knows every road in NZ he never complains about leading the ride. He always shares his knowledge and a lot of banter in the conversations bouncing around the table. But the biggest admiration of all was when Chris rushed back from the South Island after the completion of his Dirty Turismo to deliver a tribute speech on behalf of the DOCNZ for one of our own members who passed away. Upmost respect for you my friend.
- Dave Fryer
For always being available for advice and help with the bikes. Nothing's ever a problem, and he's always happy to help and have a chat. Even provides homemade lemonade at the end of the day 😊
- Bat
Dan Bloxham
This fella sorts shiz out for people on a day to day basis. He knows his stuff on parts and accessories and doesn’t even need to measure inside legs , he knows how long they need to be. Always helping peops in the shop and on the Facebook page. Hook that dude up with a good buggers award !!!
- Ross Dixon
Dan is always going above and beyond his role at Cyclespot Welly. We are SOOOOO lucky to have such a cool guy, that is passionate about Ducati, helping us with our own passion. Dan has always been a good bugger to deal with, even before scoring the role at the previously named Motomart, then has carried this through and is always helping! Thanks for your great people approach, and looking after us!
- Clint Knox
Dan gives fantastic customer service. He always goes the distance for DOCNZ customers with a fantastic attitude.

The man is "the" good bugger! Always willing to help or source parts or lend a hand to anyone in need! Regardless of the task. Top bloke!!
- Joseph Togo
Always giving great advice and genuine recommendations. And top bloke all round as well.
- anonymous
Glenn Corsen
Helps to organise and run joint events, and staunchly flies the flag for Ducati.
- Edson Guerrero
Graeme Joy - DOCNZ Secretary
The guy is rock solid, there to help anyone. Even there at the club nights with his little cone to point out the parking areas.
- Ross Dixon
John Rowe - BoP Ride Director
Aside from being a great neighbour, John is always on the lookout for and ready to help other riders. On group rides, he will often volunteer to ride last, keeping an eye out for any stragglers or problems along the way. He carries a tyre inflation kit with him, and this has been a lifesaver on at least one occasion where it helped get a stranded rider with a tyre puncture back up and riding again. John has also been a great help in getting the BoP club meets running and filled in when I wasn't able to make it. He has been generous in offering and organising spot prizes for the attendees, and brought back a lot of cool Ducati gear for several people from his trip to Melbourne. He's also gone out of his way to keep Grant company in hospital when he was recovering from a trail ride accident. John's as GOOD a BUGGER as they come!
- Adam Reis
Kelly Jenkins
Makes all newbies very welcome at all events and is always trying to gain new members!
- Edson Guerrero
For her absolute commitment as ride director and overwhelmingly positive outlook.
- anonymous
As the Regional Director for Canterbury, Kelly is so welcoming and positive. She has created an environment where Ducati owners in Christchurch love coming together for rides and social events. At all these events, Kelly is always smiling and makes an effort to personally engage with each and every person.
- Paul Monk aka Monty
Perry Dunfoy
Perry is always ready and willing to step up and help a mate or the club and loves being tail end Charlie.
- Roy Van Eeden
Roger & Sue Pereira - Waikato Directors
Their action and enthusiasm highlight all that is good about the friendship and helpfulness of all the club members I have met.
- Clint Jones
Roger and Sue give so much of their time to the club. When asked about helping plan the first North Island overnighter and the ride route, they came back with three options. They helped with the comms and promoting it to the group. Even when Santa threw a couple of curveball Christmas parades in the way, they immediately diverted the ride so everyone could stay together and be safe on the roads.
- Dave Fryer
Saved the day and the rest of our Turismo when my bike broke down, they gave us their car and keys to their house so we could continue with the Turismo. Cheers!
- Pete Buss
Roger Pereira - Waikato Director
Always the first to say hi and arranges a few gate crash meetings outside of the Waikato area. Always there for advice or where to get it if he doesn't know.
- anonymous
Sue Pereira - Waikato Director
What a legend out on the back of Roger all the time. I have heard rumours that she instigates all the riding so she doesn’t have to talk face to face to him.
- Ross Dixon
Ross Dixon - Wellington Director
Ross makes the effort to travel to other regions to attend meetings and meet the locals. He is always positive and enjoys a laugh. Ross always makes the newbies and other region members welcome when they join his shindigs. Ross, you are a star.
- Dave Fryer
